Sweet Decadence

Dined in a great little Cafe "Sweet Decadence" in the heart of Daylesford. What a fantastic selection of Handmade Chocolates, made on the premises, my thought was to try them all :) so I settled with some after having the yummy pumpkin soup and a toastie with a coffee. The atmosphere is quite charming and the excellent service from the friendly staff that work in the kitchen and on the front counter. A must place to visit to try all those chocolates I say :)

My cafe mocha was decent. The wait time for coffee was more than 5 minutes, but the staff were friendly. When we visited, a lot of the sweets were already sold out. I love the old setting/ambience in this cafe

I had a delightful experience here! The food and coffee were great with reasonable price, and the customer service was top-notch. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I especially loved the unique touch of adding a piece of chocolate on the cappuccino instead of the usual powder. The barramundi was delicious—well-seasoned and paired well with the side salads. They also offer a great variety of handmade chocolates, which are definitely worth trying. One small suggestion would be to have a few more printed menus available in the cafe. Overall, a great spot that I would recommend!

What a beautiful spot to grab a bite to eat in Daylesford. We dropped in for something sweet and weren’t disappointed. The young lady serving was really nice as was the young guy who appeared out of the kitchen with the churros in hand. I had the churros with chocolate dipping sauce (it was actually Jaffa flavour which was a nice surprise). Matt has the scones and jam this spot is famous for. I also had an iced chocolate and Matt had the hot chocolate. Everything was top notch. The scones looked and tasted incredible. The churros - amazing. Definitely on our list next time we’re back in town!

We came to this amazing cafe almost twice a day during our weekend stay at Daylesford. We were obsessed with their coffees, service and that amazing brownie. Great customer service and atmosphere. Toasties, salmon and winter salad also great. Chocoloate is delectable also. Thank you.

Cozy spot with rich chocolate and the most delicious scones. A perfect little treat!

Thank you to the lovely girl and guy that served us. They were busy but stayed so polite, helpful and friendly. Those were the best scones I have ever had! The cream was so fresh! And the hot chocolate was amazing. Loved it.
